Net Set Go

Woolworths NetSetGo is Australia’s leading grassroots netball program, designed for children aged 5-10 to experience the joy of netball in a fun, safe and welcoming community.

The mission is to develop confident and active children who grow to love team sport, whilst building essential skills. All children engage in tailored activities, with the perfect balance of fun, skills development and friendship.

Participants receive a participant pack, featuring a t-shirt themed to their favourite Suncorp Super Netball team of choice.

Kiama Netball Association offer Net Set Go experience in the following ways:

FUNNET

5-6 year olds (minimum age 5 before 31/7)

In this program, children are introduced to the basics of netball through fun, simple activities that keep them moving and engaged. They learn ball skills, footwork skills and an understanding of the game of netball including positions.

Participants register with their chosen club and come together as a group on Saturday mornings. Sessions are run by a qualified volunteer, supporting by KNA Junior rep players.

MODIES

Koalas (7-8 year olds) and Kangaroos (8-9 year olds)

In this grade, children participate in modified netball games, with simple rule changes to support their growth in the game. Games are run typically on Saturday mornings (8:30am or 9:30am) within the broader winter competition. Games are umpired and timed, however no scores are recorded to foster positive development of all players.

Participants register with their chosen club and are allocated to teams. Teams will have a coach and choose a day for training.
