2027 KNA Representative Trials

Trial dates are confirmed for the 2027 KNA Representative Program. Trials will be held indoors at Kiama Leisure Centre.

Optional pre-selection training

KNA is offering optional pre-selection training for players trialling for the 11-17 Years representative program. These sessions are not compulsory, but they give players an opportunity to meet coaches, develop their skills and become familiar with the environment before trials.

Tuesday 20 October – Croome Road Netball Courts
11 and 12 Years – 4:00-5:00 pm
13 and 14 Years – 5:00-6:00 pm
15 and 17 Years – 6:00-7:00 pm

Tuesday 27 October – Croome Road Netball Courts
11 and 12 Years – 4:00-5:00 pm
13 and 14 Years – 5:00-6:00 pm
15 and 17 Years – 6:00-7:00 pm

Friday 30 October – Kiama Leisure Centre indoor courts
11 Years – 4:00-5:00 pm
12 Years – 5:00-6:00 pm
13 Years – 6:00-7:45 pm

For pre-selection training, players may wear comfortable activewear of any colour, but should not wear team or association-branded clothing. Please bring adequate water.

Attendance and arrival

  • Attendance at all scheduled selection dates for your age group is compulsory. If illness, injury or a genuine mitigating circumstance affects attendance, contact the KNA Representative Coordinator as soon as possible. Supporting documentation may be requested.
  • Arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled start time.
  • Enter through the main doors of Kiama Leisure Centre and proceed to the registration desk to receive your trial number. The side doors will not be used for entry, exit or spectator access.
  • Parents may watch from the designated upstairs spectator area or return at the scheduled finish time.

What to wear and bring

  • Black shorts or tights with a black singlet or top, with no or minimal markings.
  • No coloured activewear or team or association apparel.
  • Adequate water and anything else needed for the session, such as a sweat towel or strapping equipment, in a small bag.

Parents and spectators

Parents are welcome to watch from the designated spectator area. Please give players space to manage the trial environment independently and refrain from coaching, calling instructions, cheering or providing commentary during trials.

What happens after trials?

Selectors will meet after all scheduled trials have concluded. Teams are expected to be finalised by mid-December, and players will be notified of the outcome by email. Players offered a position will be asked to formally accept within a specified timeframe.
