Hi All,

What a beautiful weekend and the girls really enjoyed playing in the sunshine last Saturday.

Attached are the Provisional Results and Standings after Round 3.

Just so every one is aware, the Senior Div 3 (C Grade) ladies have, by majority vote, decided to go 1st past the post rather than play half games and then finals since their grade changed from 8 to 6 teams with the withdrawal of 2 teams just before we started the comp. All the teams will now play through to Grand Final Day and a presentation will be done on the day for the Winners and Runners Up. We will attempt to have all of the grade play their final game at the same time so presentation will follow immediately after.

The forecast for the weekend is not looking good with rain being predicted from Friday. Please watch our Facebook page for updates regarding cancellations. We will attempt to make a decision on morning games before 8am (8:30, 9:30, 10:30) and  the other games by 11am. However, no matter what happens outside, ALL games scheduled for indoors will go ahead – so the Senior Div 3 (or C grade) games will be on and the umpires scheduled for those games are expected to be at the courts at the allocated times. Please note: if it is raining scoresheets will be taken indoors for these games by KNA Committee and collected by them after each game.

Thank you to all those young girls who came along to the Blaze Coaching Clinic on Sunday morning. It was an early start but the weather really warmed up. The girls were put through their paces with footwork, passing, shooting and defence drills and games just to name a few areas covered by the Blaze team and coaches. I hope the girls enjoyed themselves and appreciated the opportunity to learn from our young talented Premier League players.

The South Coast Blaze teams play in Sydney at Netball Central each week on Wednesday nights – which can be watch online by going to: https://www.nnswpremierleague.com.au/home/

If anyone would like to support the team by purchasing any of their merchandise, the brochure and order form is linked below.

Thank you to both Ted and Adam Giles for helping to setup, clean and pack up on the day.

A reminder there is a KNA Council meeting, Wednesday week – 12th August from 7:30pm (probably via internet because we can only fit 13 in the clubhouse) we will confirm that early next week. The KNA Committee will meet at 7pm at the clubhouse for their usual monthly meeting prior.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Cheers
