Congratulations! What a great day of club netball in Kiama, you all did so well and I know the girls, young and old, really enjoyed being able to get onto the courts for 2020.
Many thanks to each and every one that attended as you followed our guidelines so well with spectators, social distancing and hand sanitising. I know that as a committee we were able to enjoy the day as much as you because, with your help, it all went so smoothly.
I must thank my hard working committee for helping on the day and in particular Michelle Gregory who has spent many hours on all the paperwork and setting up to get the courts and clubhouse to the point where we comply with all the regulations in place. Thank you.
Also, I need to mention Maria Luke, Sandra Dodd and Michael Tavener who worked all day, Ted Beedles and Kirstyn Luke who also worked all day but are not on the committee and Alexis Smith, Caitlyn Mitchell and Kellie Livesley who also contributed.
Finally thank you to the volunteers from Central who turned up to fulfil their duties on the Venue Roster – which is primarily, cleaning duty. They helped out without complaint and, I think found it was pretty easy and didn’t take much time or effort to get a very necessary job done for the association.
I hope that we can continue for the rest of the season in the same way that we have started and if things in general, do not deteriorate, we will hopefully get through what has already been a very difficult season with some fun coming out of each week of play.
Many Thanks
